Folding Picnic Table DIY Plan

The folding picnic table is the ideal piece for a small deck or balcony. This piece of outdoor furniture provides a comfortable twin bench for morning coffee and converts to quite a nice picnic table for outdoor dining. Surprise your friends when you pop this thing in front of their eyes. In less then ten seconds, you will go form a bench made for two to a two bench table that will seat four easily, and the reverse conversion is just as fast. Its a bench plan / picnic table plan and serves quite well in both modes.

Tools needed for this project are a mitre saw, table saw, Band Saw ( Not a necessity, but very helpful ) a drill for drilling and inserting screws, 3/8″ drill bit, 1/8″ drill bit, 1″ drill bit and a socket wrench.
